The Sudanese Community SoT continues to host a vibrant range of community-based activities designed to bring people together. Highlights of our annual calendar include:
Cultural & Religious Celebrations: We host major events for Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha (Qurban Eid), ensuring families can celebrate these important milestones together.
Heritage & Awareness: In collaboration with other BAME groups, we actively participate in Refugee Week each June and Black History Month, fostering solidarity and shared history.
Social & Recreational Events: Our popular monthly social gatherings and Sudanese musical concerts provide a space for connection and cultural expression.
Family Excursions: Our highly anticipated summer trips offer children and families the chance to explore and relax in a supportive environment.
Through these diverse activities, SCoT remains dedicated to enriching the social and cultural life of the Sudanese community in Stoke-on-Trent throughout the year.
